Meeting Minutes

The Southern Council FFF holds several different meeting each year in order to administer the business and affairs of the Southern Council.

The unofficial definitions listed below help describe the different meeting participants. These definitions vary from the official definitions, which are contained in the Southern Council Bylaws:

Executive Board - The Executive Board shall consist of the President, Vice-Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Council, and the two (2) National Directors.

Board of Directors - The Board of Directors consists of the Executive Board plus the President of each affiliated local club.

Club Presidents are permitted to attend Executive Board meetings as observers, but have no standing to participate in the meetings. A Club President must be a member in good standing of the FFF in order to be considered as a director.

Members Current Federation members located in the States of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana (West of Mississippi River), Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas shall be considered members of the Council, unless they officially declare otherwise to the business offices of the Federation and the Council at their principal addresses. Also, any Federation member outside the above listed area, currently in good standing with the Federation,may become a member of the Council by stating its intention in writing to the business offices of the Federation and the Council at their principal addresses. The General Membership meeting is usually held in October, immediately prior to the Board of Director's meeting.

Members are permitted to attend Board meetings as observers, but have no standing to participate in the meetings.
