2009 FFF Southern Council NominationFederator of the YearHoward MalpassI have researched the titles and descriptions of the Awards Titles and for man I would like to nominate this category seems to suit best. Howard is the newly appointed Director of Development for the Southern Council and has been a member in good standing of the the Federation with support of both regional and national support. I must applaud Howard for his mission to bring more communication from the members of the Southern Council by his forward thinking by placing Region Directors of Development to assist not only his position but to the betterment of the Southern Council by reaching out and gathering must needed input for the future success of programs for future Conclaves. Since meeting Howard at the Conclave a few years back even before his position with the SOC he was a continually working to promote the Councils cause and now that he has stepped into one of the leadership roles of the Board Howard has quickly undertaken steps to improve and restructure the council, besides the organizing the Regional Directors; Howard has been working to update and re-write the By-Laws of the Council to reflect the needs of the membership as well as the future of the council. Traveling through the regions for which he is responsible Howard carries proudly the mission of the Council with power point presentations at individual clubs as well as the many hours that he spend in contact with the other members of the board. Howard is relentless in his pursuit of ways and means to promote and secure the future of the Southern Council and deserves to be awarded for his devotion and loyalty and banner which he carries daily to promote the Council and the Federation.
