2010 FFF Southern Council NominationConservationist of the YearFriends of the Norfork National Fish HatcheryThis organization has spearheaded significant improvements to the Dry Run Creek section of the Norfork National Fish Hatchery and received conservation grant funding from SOC as a contribution towards these efforts. They have also been an active partner in coalition with other conservation, water quality and fishing organizations with the goal of promoting awareness of and improving water quality, as well as the care and feeding of national fish hatchery resources.
