2007 FFF Southern Council NominationConservation AwardLeon AlexanderThe Northeast Arkansas Flyfishers would like to nominate Leon Alexander for the Southern Council's Conservation Award. He is the Treasurer of the Southern Council. He is also the Vice President of the Friends of the Norfork Hatchery. Leon did an excellent job informing those interested about the problems that faced the Norfork River because of illegal development. He kept on and worked to make sure that this incident and desecration to the Norfork River was not overlooked as it has been so many times in Arkansas. His work with the Friends of the Norfork Hatchery is an inspiration to us all. His dedicated service to conservation issues should not be overlooked. Dennis Reed |
