2007 FFF Southern Council Nomination

Tall Tale Teller Of The Year

Captain Sid Caradine

This year we would like to propose that Capt. Sid Caradine of Columbus Mississippi be your only selection for the tall teller of the year .In fact Mr. Caradine may be the biggest tall teller east or west of the Mississippi River. Capt. Sid, although one of the finest fly fishing gentlemen I have ever fished with, tends to spin tales on not only fishing ventures but also the long yarns of everything and anything that one man could possibly know. That puts Capt. Sid in the top of the Mensa Class of 07 and possibly the decade.

Sid Caradine can spin the yarns that can only lull the most skeptical believer into the realm of reality of the world. This being all the time knowing Sid has never been out of Columbus Mississippi.the tales of navigating the waters of our majestic waters and slipping through the streams of Arkansas and nearly "sinking his jon boat" in the great swells off of Rim Shoals Point has all the high points of a true tall teller.

Capt. Sid can captivate the individual or a large crowd with his joie de vie .He dresses boldly with the bill fish cap and the colorful scarves around the neck and the Hemmingway gestures. You can believe things of your wildest imagination of the saints and sinners with Capt. Sid as your guide. Just sit down with Capt Sid anywhere or anytime and you immediately become a fan and a true friend of our Capt Sid and enjoy the journey of a whimsical attitude

Capt. Sid is a lifetime member of the FFF, a certified casting instructor and a licensed deep vessel captain. With this pedigree Capt. Sid has only the Tall Teller of the Year to rise to the top.

Thank you for your consideration.
