Mountain Home is located between 2 top trout rivers, the White River and the Norfork River. Fishing information is available at the North Arkansas Fly Fishers web site or at the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission website. In addition, you can also get lots of information by going to your favorite search website and searching with appropriate key words. Arkansas fishing licenses are available on-line at the AG&F website. Keep in mind that the White and the Norfork are both tailwater fisheries located downstream of hydroelectric dams.
