The Southern Council FFF is proud to announce a new contest.
SOUTHERN COUNCIL
GREY GHOST VIDEO AWARDS
The Southern Council Grey Ghost Video Awards will be a contest to see who can produce the best short videos to be showcased at the 2010 Fly Fishing Festival (Conclave) in the following CATEGORIES:
- FLY FISHING – Video of fly fishing and fish.
Awards:
- Best Picture
- Funniest Video
- Best Fish Jump
- INSTRUCTIONAL – Video that involves instructional presentations of fly casting, fly tying, fly fishing techniques, or other related.
Awards:
- CLUB PROMOTIONAL – Video used for the purpose of gaining membership in the FFF and/or local FFF club. Submissions will be accepted from the club rather than individuals.

- Best Picture
- Funniest Video
RULES
- Videos submitted must be produced by those submitting them.
- No videos produced by professional production companies.
- All entries are to be submitted in both of THESE TWO formats:
- Digital format suitable for play using Windows Media Player, QuickTime, Adobe Flash or similar player.
- DVD (preferrably mini DV) to be used on large screen television or projection.
- Video must not contain any unsuitable or objectionable material such as foul language, nudity, etc.
- Background music mus tbe clear of any copyright restrictions. Use of royalty free music or original music with written permissikon from the composer is suggested.
- Submission of video gives license to the Southern Council FFF for use by Southern Council FFF for promotional and fund raising purposes as seen fit by the Council Board of Directors.
- Video must be no more than FIVE minutes in length.
- Other rules may apply prior to judging and will be sent to those requesting rules.
- Entries must be received before midnight, August 15, 2010.
